Getting to Chicago

Arriving by air

Two major airports serve downtown Chicago: O'Hare International Airport and Chicago Midway International Airport.

  • Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD) is located 16 mi (26 km) west of downtown Chicago. Numerous carriers offer service in and out of O'Hare International Airport with direct connections to over 200 destinations in the United States and overseas. Transfer services by limousine or taxi require approximately 1 hour for travel between the airport and the hotel (depending on traffic). One-way travel by taxi typically costs $50-$60 USD. For rapid transit train service between O'Hare and the hotel, use the Blue Line and the Clarke/Lake stop, which is a 12 minute walk from the hotel. The fee for one-way rapid transit train service is $5 USD.
  • Chicago Midway International Airport (MDW) is located 10 mi (16 km) from the downtown area. Midway Airport is the second largest airport in the Chicago area. Travel to and from Midway airport requires approximately 50 minutes (depending on traffic).
    One-way travel by taxi typically costs $35-$40 USD. For rapid transit train service between Midway and the hotel, use the Orange Line and the State/Lake stop, which is a 10 minute walk from the hotel. The fee for one-way rapid transit train service is $5 USD.
Arriving by car or rail

Driving directions to the hotel are available through the hotel web site. The closest Amtrak station is Union Station, which is approximately 2.5 miles from the hotel.
