The
16th International Symposium on NeuroVirology
and 2019 Conference on HIV in the
Central Nervous System
will be held on November 12-16, 2019, at the
Westin Buckhead Atlanta in Atlanta, Georgia,
USA. This year's symposium will showcase local
leaders in the field of neurovirology as well as
top investigators and clinicians from around the
world who are on the leading edges of basic,
translational, and clinical research. In the
tradition of past ISNV-sponsored symposia, this
meeting will highlight new findings and
accomplishments in some of the most important
areas of research in neurovirology, including
viral latency and reservoirs, neural aging and
comorbidities, extracellular vesicles, and the
gut-brain connection. Importantly, the meeting
will also feature exciting presentations by
invited speakers from the nearby Centers for
Disease Control, Morehouse School of Medicine,
and Emory Center for AIDS Research. As in
previous meetings, the meeting will also
showcase young investigators who are just
starting their own research careers in
neurovirology.

Message and an update on the meeting from
